Dingo roadhouse prices are morbidly OVER INFLATED. The owner has a good monopoly and location with fuel here. Mine workers are prevalent here... therefore travellers are ripped off with fuel price (usually 25cents or more higher per litre). Then there's the prices for in-store items such as drinks and food. They are worse than the fuel prices. I'm glad i don't need to fuel up here any more. Make use of buses.

Fuel prices are expensive so be sure to fuel up before leaving rockhampton or emerald. Food and dining is reasonable

Obviously in the middle of nowhere but won't buy hot food again after a piece of kabana cost me $5.20 - wayyyy to expensive for me unfortunately.

Good place to stopover for a meal break between Emerald and Rocky
